This is the difference between the speed and costs of sending pictures, so on the laptop its fast( this all depends of how fast your internet runs) and its very easy to do, where as on the mobile phone you have to attach it to a MMS message and then send which is going to cost you something like 50p for that? so id recommend using internet but the person mite not get it straight away where as MMS message it gets to them straight away so its up to you which option you choose.
If you choose to do it by SD card onto the computer and email it then i would say this is the best option, as you dont have to pay 50p for a text all you have to do is find documents, find what your camera is called and then load it then save it then get you email up and attach a JPG. image or your picture file, it is also paperless so its more efficient and also if your good with computers then it will be so easy for you.
If you sending it via WI-FI you can only do it at certain places for example: Your house, restaurants.
Where as 3G you can send it from anywhere

Well for this photographer obviously you will have a SD card for your camera? it dosent matter how much GB it is all you need is that and a gmail or a Hotmail account or maybe even Facebook and even on your smart phone? so ill take you step by step on how to do this? So first you need to get your SD card and plug it into your laptop, if your laptop doesn't have a SD card plug in area check your printer, most printers have them, okay so now once you plugged it in you go to your documents and load up your SD card, you can now drag and drop or copy and paste these to a file folder or your desktop, now once you have done this its up to you how you want to send this, here are some ways you can send you photo, you can send it via, Email, through a message on Facebook print it out and out it in the post, put it on a USB and give them the USB.
So the ways to send it through a email is put the photo on your computer, load up your email account and send a new email, now somewhere on your page should be a tag saying" attach a photo or file" click on that then find your photo you have taken, now you can send it. Its exactly the same for Facebook but different coulors thats it, but for the USB you will have to find your USB hub on your computer, they are normally located on left or right or behind the computer, so plug it in to the port now you want to load up your USB by going into" Documents" and now just drag and drop or copy and paste. And for post its really easy just print it out put it in a envelope and send, now if you want to send it via smart phone its going to cost you some money for a media message so you load up the picture get you phone and plug in the USB hub to your phone and then into your laptop, connect it to your laptop now go into documents find your phone and just drag and drop or copy and paste onto your phone, take it out your laptop and attach the picture to a text message and send, also you can put it into your smart phone and send it via blue tooth or via sms message, all you have to do for the sms is create a new message and attach a JPG image
The protocol that is used to send is WI-FI and the protocol used to send on location is bluetooth.

The way to keep your devices safe is very simple you just need to follow very simple steps and be careful what you do, for example you should change your password regularly so ifn a case that you do get hacked or someone discovers your password, you will still be safe and they can not do as much damage as they would have done if they knew it permanently. Also be wary if you give out your vital information that no one is around that could use against you or you do not trust.(i would recommend not telling anyone at all.) Be careful when you access your email or whatever you need to keep safe make sure you log out because some websites will leave you logged in for the future but someone else could access it.
Most Wi-Fi hubs are encrypted so that you will not be hacked and your information will not get stolen or seen.(Encrypting is a way on concealing information to keep you safe.)

Mobile phones and tablets: we use are mobile phones every day, we use protocols everyday and what protocols are they are like a wireless connecting device that lets you do Bluetooth receive sms and multi media sms, videos and ring people, how they work is that if you have a wireless connecting device such as a home hub or another mobile it will connect to them using signals, but when your receiving text messages, multi media messages or videos or anything to do with that, you get a signal sent to your phone, tablets are basically the same but they don't receive sms or calls, they have Bluetooth and everything else like wi-fi! but also tablets can also share songs and do things like that but that connecting to wi-fi
If you have a mobile and they have something called protocols and you can send SMS, there just text messages and there bluetooth and this uses protocols aswell
This some name's of the protocols
IP (Internet Protocol)
IPSec (Internet Protocol Secured)
IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6)
HTTP (Hyper Text Transfer Protocol)
MPLS (Multi Protocol Label Switched)
SMTP (Simple Mail Transmission Protocol)
POP (Post Office Protocol)
DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol)
